Privacy Policy

Dominion (“we,” “us”) is operated by Rotsen Games. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and who we share it with. We collect the minimum needed to run matchmaking, save match history, show leaderboards, and fund the game with advertising. We do not sell personal information.

Account data

When you play without signing in, we create an anonymous session via Supabase. That session has a pseudonymous ID but no email or real-world identifiers. If you sign up with email or an OAuth provider (Google), we store your email address, a display name, and whatever profile data the OAuth provider returns to us (typically a name and an avatar URL).

Match data

We store the outcome and aggregate statistics of every completed match — duration, win condition, tiles captured, units built, damage dealt, and similar. This data is linked to your account (or anonymous session) so we can show you your match history and compute leaderboard standings.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you logged in (Supabase auth token), remember your preferences, and cap the frequency of rewarded ads. No cross-site tracking cookies are set by our code.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page performance and traffic patterns. Vercel Analytics is sampled and pseudonymous; it does not use cookies and does not identify individual users.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to serve display and rewarded video ads. AdSense may set cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) and may use information about your visits to this site to serve personalized ads.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our sites and other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info/choices. For information about how Google uses data, see Google's partner sites policy.

If you are in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with comparable consent law, we present a consent prompt (Google Funding Choices) before any advertising cookies are set. You can change your choices at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link we'll surface in the footer once that system is live.

GDPR (EU, UK, EEA residents)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at arronnestor@gmail.com. We respond within thirty days.

CCPA (California residents)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA. To make a request, email us at the address above.

Account data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and unlink your identifiable match history within thirty days; aggregate, anonymized statistics may be retained for leaderboard integrity. Anonymous sessions are retained for ninety days of inactivity and then purged.

Dominion is not directed at children under thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under thirteen. If you believe a child under thirteen has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We update this policy as the game evolves. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the changelog.
